About 40% of the adult population is estimated to have acid reflux. The primary symptom of this occurrence is painful heartburn in your chest and throat, but many people get acid reflux all the time and don’t even know it. Undigested food and acids are forced up from your stomach and into your esophagus when you are experiencing acid reflux, and serious complications are known to arise from this if left untreated.

Not only can the hydrochloric acid from your stomach be very damaging to your esophagus, the gases created as the stomach contents dissolve will travel up into your throat where further damage can be caused. You might only feel the symptoms such as heartburn after a large meal or a night out drinking, but this does not mean that these are the only times your body is refluxing. A very similar condition to acid reflux, silent reflux, has very different symptoms but is usually caused by the same thing – more information about silent reflux can be found further down.

Medications Increase Acid Reflux

Many medications are known to increase your risk for reflux. Bronchodilators, insomnia or anxiety medications, beta blockers or calcium channel blockers, and seasickness pills to name a few can all contribute to your chances of experiencing acid reflux and heartburn. If you have noticed that your symptoms are more severe while taking a certain medication, or if you only began to experience these symptoms after beginning to use a specific medication, you should inform your doctor immediately and look for alternative methods.

The Increased Risk of Experiencing Acid Reflux and Heartburn

It has also been noted that at least 80% of people with asthma will regularly experience some sort of reflux. With roughly 40% of all adults experiencing some form of silent reflux or acid reflux, and with the huge amount of medications that can contribute to the likelihood of its occurrence, you are really racing against the inevitable if you think that you will never have to worry about it happening to you.

Acid reflux is usually caused by foods and liquids traveling up from your stomach, but it is possible that you are experiencing these symptoms because of a more serious problem. Some experience heartburn constantly due to a punctured esophagus or malformed stomach valve/esophagus. Various growth defects have also been found to cause heartburn or acid reflux, and you should consult your doctor about this if you feel it may apply to your case or if you or your family has had any history of such conditions.

You don’t want to ignore this common condition if you value your health and future, but many prescription and over-the-counter drugs available for acid reflux sufferers put you at an even greater risk than the reflux itself. Being sure to avoid over-eating and engaging in regular exercise will certainly do some good, but Mother Nature has also provided us with a completely natural and organic answer to this common ailment.

A Natural Remedy – The Amish Way

The Amish people have used a combination of natural ingredients put together using a process known as “stacked blending” for over 100 years to completely stop acid reflux and heartburn in just a couple of minutes. This same remedy recently became available to the general public for the first time through a company known as Caleb Treeze Organic Farm, and it is now possible to get this same remedy that has been used for over a century delivered right to your door in just a couple of days. This unique mixture contains only raw and unfiltered apple cider vinegar, ginger and juice from the garlic plant, so you don’t have to worry about any damaging side effects as long as you are not allergic to apples, garlic or ginger.  You won’t find a single preservative or additive in this Amish remedy, but that isn’t even the best part about it.

The makers of this product still use the exact same processes and ingredients that have been used throughout this remedies entire history simply because they work so well. Your reflux and heartburn will be gone in just one to two minutes, and one bottle is usually enough to last two to three months.
