Even though it was originally released 7 years ago, Burn the Fat, Feed the Muscle is a weight loss program that is still being mentioned on countless websites. Thousands of people all over the world have downloaded it and there have been some extraordinary claims made such as one reader losing over 100lbs and others gaining more than 40lbs of muscle.

Is there any scientific rationale to these claims or is it all just hype and sales talk perpetuated by the people working for the owner of the guide? This Burn the Fat, Feed the Muscle review will answer these questions and give an honest opinion on the ebook.

Who is The Author?

Tom Venuto, the author of the book, is a body builder and personal trainer with a degree in sports science and a certification as a strength and conditioning specialist.

The manual comes in pdf format and opens with his experience and challenges that he faced in attaining six pack abs. Although he has never been considered obese, he speaks about some of the common problems people experience when trying to lose weight and gain muscle. From my first impressions, if you one of those people that like detailed explanations then you will enjoy this guide as it has more than 300 pages.

What Makes “Burn The Fat, Feed The Muscle” Different?

Burn the Fat, Feed the Muscle  focuses on nutrition since it is highly important for getting a lean body. Although you have the best exercise programs, it would all be futile if your calorie consumption outweighs those that are being burned. This will make you gain more instead of getting rid of them.

As you go along the chapters that are based on nutrition, you will be acquainted on how to set up a meal plan which can also be enjoyable due to the ‘template’ system designed by the author – by inputting your favorite foods in the template, the menus will automatically create your meal plan.

If you want to gain defined abs, there is a section dedicated to that as well. Body fat is typically located above the abdominal muscles. That is why your abs cannot be seen if you have high amounts of fat. Take note that exercises like sit ups or crunches won’t fully work in burning those fats. You also have to consider the right nutrition.

Burn the Fat, Feed the Muscle offers important information and increases understanding of carbohydrates, proteins, fats and calories so that you know exactly how they work. Furthermore, you will be provided with a list of recommended foods and the best time to eat them.

You will be able to design your own training program as well. The programs suggested are actually designed by popular body builders but you will be able to tailor them exactly to your own preferences. The only downside is that pictures of the exercises are not included, however a simple search on Google or Youtube will show you exactly how to perform them if you need visual aids.

Psychology is also included in the book. Having the right mindset is very important and in this chapter, you will be taught about mental training, goal setting and motivating yourself to do what you should do to lose weight. This chapter will help you through the psychological challenges of training and inject some extra motivation into you when when you have a “off” day or do not feel energetic.

Perhaps the most interesting chapter is chapter five. This section presents facts about how each person’s metabolism is different from one another. Furthermore, it also analyzes your type of physique. If you seem to be allergic to certain foods, you will be given a meal plan that is modified in order for you to omit those foods that can trigger an allergic reaction.

Conclusions

Remember that this book does not promise instant success. There’s no such thing as getting six pack abs in a few days. You also have to invest some effort and dedication. The main reason as to why many people are purchasing this book is because the author is honest enough to say that enough motivation and hard work are always needed to attain a lean body.

Overall, I was very surprised with “Burn the Fat, Feed the Muscle”. The information contained inside is very useful and a bible to anyone looking for ano nonsense way to lose weight and gain a leaner body. Due to the amount of information (over 300 pages), it is not surprising that it has remained the number 1 ebook on weight loss for the past 7 years.
