Usually, the allergic reactions happen when this person suffers from nausea and vomiting or diarrhea. Finally, the third type of symptom does not show up right away. Instead, the person allergic to milk will experience the symptoms after a day or two. An individual with the third type of symptom may also suffer from diarrhea.
However, the manifestations mentioned above are only few of the common milk allergy symptoms. Other symptoms include an excessively active demeanor, asthma, nose and hear infections, bloating, eye infections, swelling of the face or mouth and skin problems such as redness or rashes. But knowing them won’t suffice if you want to treat this condition. It is highly advised to restrict yourself from drinking cow’s milk. Moreover, it is also best to assess all the foods that you are eating and read their labels when your purchase them. It is always important to verify that you are not allergic to the foods that you will buy.
As we already know, milk and certain dairy products are rich in calcium and eliminating them in our diet can become a problem. To compensate this predicament, calcium supplements may be an excellent way to get enough calcium provided that it is allowed by your physician. Furthermore, we can also eat other foods that are rich in calcium. Foods such as seafood, baked beans, dried fruits, green leafy vegetables and almonds can be eaten in lieu of ingesting milk and some dairy products.
