If you think about it homemade beauty products have been around for a very long time, the roman women use to bath in Milk and Rose Petals, Milk is a great skin softener because of its lactic acid.

There are many little secrets for your skin that you can find right in your kitchen with out making a trip to the store and spending a lot of money. If your skin needs added moisture, honey is a great solution, just by mixing ground oatmeal and honey in a paste and apply it as a facemask for 20 minutes; your skin gets exfoliated and moisturized in one step. The anti-microbial properties in Tea tree oil is known to help control acne, just use a few drops of the oil with a little bit of water and apply with a cotton ball after washing your face, don’t use the tea tree oil directly it could irritate your Skin.

One big problem we all have is clogged pores, there is a simple solution to that too, it’s called salicylic acid. I can already hear you say where am I suppose to get that, no panic you can make that real easy in just a few steps. Take a Orange peel and grate it very finely mix with a few crushed aspirins and take some of the orange juice mix well and there you go, use it as a face scrub to clean your pores.

As you can see you don’t have to go and buy the high priced items to keep up your Skin care there are so many affordable and affective ways to keep up your beauty routines with out going broke. The best part about making your own Skin care products is that you actually know what is in it there is no guess work involved, sure sometimes it is more convenient to just buy the product but it actually just takes minutes to make your own.
