Apart from foods such as eggs, liver, and fortified milk, sunshine is also a great source of this compound. Vitamin E in green leafy vegetables, oil, and margarine also has a part in production of the thyroid hormone.
Lastly, essential amino acids must be part of the treatment as well for these are the building blocks of proteins. The thyroid gland is mainly composed of protein. Moreover, this component helps in weight control. Best sources of protein are meat, legumes, and dairy products.
